WHAT: The runway at FusionFest will come alive with a kaleidoscope of fashion from around the world, reflecting the diverse origins and heritages of our community.

There are two ways to wear your culture and share your fashion story:

  • Heritage Showcase: Walk the runway in an outfit representing your heritage.

    • Participants are responsible to supply their own model and provide hair and makeup.

    • There will be a total of 9 fashion shows over the two-day festival, and you must participate in a minimum of 3 shows.

  • Fusion Contest: Fashion Designers are invited to create an original design that blends elements from different parts of the world for a chance to win $1,000.

    • Designs must be 100% original materials, no pre-made scarfs or t-shirts, for example. The only non-original parts of your design that are permitted are shoes and accessories.

    • There will be a total of 9 fashion shows over the two-day festival. You will be required to participate in a minimum of 3 shows, of your choice.:
