I created and have been running the Global Peace Film Festival (GPFF) since its inception in 2003. I’m a native New Yorker of Eastern European descent who grew up in England until the age of 23 when I moved back stateside. I’ve worked in both the film industry and politics. I was a film editor, cutting trailers, and was a Film Commissioner in my home town of New York City. Some of the most exciting opportunities I’ve had since starting the GPFF have been the international film festivals I’ve had the pleasure of attending or working on in countries including Japan, Nepal, Israel, Jordan and China. One of the great things about FusionFest is being able to experience all these – and other – cultures right here in Orange County.
