Pat Henderson, a retired librarian of Valencia College, has lived in Orlando since 1973.  She started folk dancing in 1974 which is where she met her husband, Bobby Quibodeaux.  Together they run the Orlando International Folk Dance Club which is 50 years old.  She performed for the first two FusionFests with the club.  She was a judge for the 2020 FusionFest Contest.  She and her husband have also been doing Israeli dancing at the JCC every week for over 30 years.  Pat has been on the Board of the Florida Folk Dance Council, Inc. for almost 30 years in one office or another.  She was President for three 2-year terms in different decades.  Before retiring from Valencia, she created and was the faculty sponsor for the Cultural Dance Society.  Besides having a passion for dancing, she enjoys her vegetable gardens, playing bridge, traveling and being a new grandmother.
