The Florida Puerto Rican Day Parade has been canceled due to COVID-19.
Celebrate Puerto Rican Day with friends from all over the world!
4th Florida Puerto Rican Parade
Saturday, April 25, 2020.
Meeting Time: 11:00 a.m.
Meeting Place: Orange Ave and Concord St (exact location TBD)
Parade Route: North Orange towards Orlando City Hall
Where do I go?
We will meet in Downtown Orlando on Orange Ave by Concord St. Exact location TBC. Several streets will be closed, so plan on leaving as early as you can.
What time are we meeting?
All participants should arrive by 11:00 a.m. and check out a flag at our FusionFest table. The parade will start at 12:00 p.m.
Where to park?
Participants can park free at the Orange County Administration Center (201 S. Rosalind Ave., Orlando, FL 32801) or at a city parking garage for a fee. Due to street closings, not all garages may be available, but CLICK HERE for a list of locations.
What to wear?
Come dressed in colorful or heritage clothing. We will walk several blocks, so make sure you wear comfortable shoes.
What to bring?
We recommend bringing one or two bottles of water so you can keep yourself hydrated throughout the parade. It will be a beautiful, sunny day, so sunscreen or a hat is a good idea too.
You will need to check out a flag at our FusionFest table. You then unroll it and keep the tie on the pole. Try not to drag it on the ground. At the end of the parade, carefully roll up the flag and secure it with the tie. Then return it in at the FusionFest table.
- Feel free to invite your friends and bring acoustic instruments that can be played along the way.
- Make sure to sign a one-time FusionFest Release of Liability Form. We keep these on file, so you only need to sign it once.
- If you need help, call Thali at 407-574-1312, or Terry at 407-242-5790.
