Details and Application of Intent to Participate

  • Maximum of 24 participants
  • Family friendly content required
  • Culturally themed subject matter should be related to our diversity in Central Florida
  • Three minute maximum for poems
  • All participants are entered into a raffle for two free tickets to fly anywhere in the world

  • Participants will need to be prepared with a minimum of 6 haikus related to the festival theme of our diversity in Central Florida.

FusionFest Parade

As a FusionFest Word participant, you are invited to participate in the FusionFest Parade –  A colorful display of Central Florida’s cultural heritage featuring costumes, puppets, music, dancing, flags and local officials. To participate, gather at 11:30 am at the City Commons Parking Garage, 460 S Boone Ave each day.  The parade will wind through the festival grounds and be finished by 12:30 pm each day. 

The Show

WORD

The Word events will take place on the City Hall Stage on both Saturday and Sunday at the following times between 12:30 pm and 6:30 pm (5:00 pm end on Sunday).
