Global Street Dance Party

Presented by

Join us for the eclectic Global Street Dance Party on a beautiful diversitastic evening on Saturday, Nov. 30 from 7 pm – 9 pm as we take over downtown Orlando with a variety of dance rhythms from around the world all wrapped into one big party remix.

From the Bhangra and Bollywood in India, to German Polka, Cuba-Salsa, to the Caribbean beats of Soca, Reggae, Kompa, to the Brazilian Samba and Capoeira, the Hawaiian-Hula, the vibrant sound of Afrobeats, or whatever dance music genre you specialize in, YOU are invited to be part of the Global Street Dance Party to feature a short interactive 1 minn or less cultural routine to show and dance with the crowd!

Will it be just another show?

Not at all… There will be no stage! No long routine! Just you/your team leading and teaching the moves in the middle or front of the dance floor area then the crowd follows your lead.

We will also have an MC to assist in getting the crowd going and moving on their feet following YOUR dance moves to live and feel the cultural experience with you.

Yes, that’s right, it is literally a big Street Dance Party!

How do we sign up?

Simply fill out the short form then send us your music/song. When submitting your song, please identify which section of the song will make up your 1 min or less dance routine.

Optional: one week prior to the event date, we highly encourage to send us a short preview video of the routine you have in mind for the global street dance in order for the MC to start preparing and learning the moves to assist you with the crowd. Share and tag @FusionFestOrlando on Facebook and Instagram.

Deadline is Nov. 10.

The deadline to apply to have your dance/music represented as part of the Global Street Dance Party is Nov. 10. If you are performing during both the dance showcase and the Global Street Dance Party, a mini reception will be held with some food and refreshments for you in the afternoon. All dancers need to check-in at 5:30 pm on the day of the event.

Please also share the word, if you or someone dancers you know are willing to showcase their cultural dance at the festival.
